I leave tomorrow for what possibly could be the most exciting 5 months of my life.  I will be in Menorca, Spain for three weeks on an archaeological excavation specifically looking at the necropolis of Roman city.    (Perhaps I took Mark Twain too seriously when he said, "There comes a time in every rightly constructed boy’s life when he has a raging desire to go somewhere and dig for hidden treasure.")

Then I bounce around Europe (Barcelona, Paris, London) before I reach Rome to do more classics related things.  I will spend the semester there, but I'm sure I will end up in places I haven't planned yet.

This blog will be an easy way for me to post pictures and updates about what I am doing and where I am going throughout my trip.  Take care and please if you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me.
